Overview

Infiniti's top-selling model G37 Sedan comes with a revised exterior styling, an enhanced interior treatment and upgraded technology features for the 2010 model year. The 2010 Infiniti G37 is a sport-focused Sedan available in four trims: base, G37 Journey, G37S Sport 6MT, and G37x AWD. Combined with a powerful engine, stylish look, and unique comfort, the new 2010 G37 Sedan stands out among other mid-size sedans in its segment.

Power and performance

The new G37 Sedan derives power from a 328-hp 3.7-liter VVEL (Variable Valve Event & Lift) V6 engine mated to an efficient 7-speed automatic transmission. It is also available with a 6-speed manual transmission (G37 Sedan Sport 6MT), as well as with an advanced Infiniti Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system (G37x Sedan AWD).

Body and styling

The Infiniti G37 Sedan?s exterior now includes a new grille, front fascias (Base and Sport) and headlight treatments. It rolls on new 17-inch wheels with revised interior colors and trim, available next generation navigation system, new gauge color scheme and center console design, rain-sensing wipers and Advanced Climate Control System (ACCS) with Plasmacluster air purifier added to Technology Package, standard 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat and one-touch auto up/down rear windows on Base model, revised Journey model content and two new exterior colors. The new G37 Sedan has a crafted interior environment and is equipped hi-tech luxury features like standard leather-appointed seating and an available audiophile-quality Infiniti Studio on by Bose premium audio system, which combines Bose?s 3-way front door speaker array with 10-inch subwoofers and a parcel shelf-mounted subwoofer. A 2GB Music Box is available with the Premium Package. A new, predominately white color scheme for the gauges and LCD instrument display, improving both legibility and cohesiveness of design is a major enhancement for 2010. A new center console design (7AT models) and new ?Shodo? aluminum trim are among the other changes. A next-generation version of the Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System now includes features such as XM NavTraffic with Real-Time Traffic Information and NavWeather with Real-Time Weather and 3-day forecast (XM subscription required, sold separately), Streaming Audio via Bluetooth and Zagat Restaurant Guide. Other navigation system features include a 7.0-inch touch screen monitor and 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive.

Safety Features

The 2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan is equipped with many advanced safety features. Driver, front, and outboard rear passengers side impact air bags; front-seat active head restraints (AHR); electronic brake force distribution (EBD); brake assist (BA); 4-wheel anti-lock braking system (ABS); vehicle dynamic control (VDC); traction control system (TCS); cruise control with steering wheel-mounted switches; and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) are few of the numerous standard safety features on the G37 Sedan for 2010. Its advanced air bag system (AABS) offers dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor which adjust their inflation rate depending on crash severity. If the front-passenger's seat is empty, a sensor will deactivate the air bag.
