Serving Maple Shade, NJ

As you prepare to take home a compact executive car that beautifully combines luxurious features with a sporty style, your attention may understandably be centered on the INFINITI Q50. Available since 2014, the Q50 continues to turn heads and impress drivers, and it may provide you with the exceptional on-the-road experience that you desire. Both the 2018 and 2019 Q50 sedans have impressive features and capabilities that make them an irresistible option, but they have numerous differences that you should be aware of before deciding on a specific vehicle. Our INFINITI experts are eager to answer your questions about both model years and their trim-specific differences.

Performance

The INFINITI Q50 has the performance capabilities to support lofty expectations established by its aggressive, aerodynamic exterior. In the 2018 model, one of the powertrains available is a 3.5-liter hybrid engine. This powertrain has been eliminated for 2019. If you take home the 2019 Q50 sports sedan, you can benefit from a V6, 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine available with either 300 or 400 horsepower. Another option for both model years is a turbo 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine. Additional equipment includes a rear-wheel drive or intelligent all-wheel drive, a dynamic digital suspension, power steering, anti-lock brakes, an automatic transmission, drive mode select, and a few additional features.

Appearance

The 2018 INFINITI Q50 is a vision of sophistication throughout the interior and exterior, and the 2019 model makes a few improvements to an already-excellent design. The exterior for both model years is stealthy with muscular contouring and sharp angles across the grille and headlights. The new model year adds a power sliding sunroof and 18-inch alloy wheels to the 3.0-t LUXE trim as standard equipment. It also brings interior wood accents to the same trim. If you take home the RED SPORT 400 trim for 2019, you can choose quilted white leather seats featuring red stitching and black exterior mirror caps. Both model years boast a luxurious interior that incorporates advanced technologies throughout the front row.

Features

Both the 2018 INFINITI Q50 and the 2019 Q50 provide you with a full range of advanced features throughout the interior and exterior with a few notable updates to the latest model year. All 2019 trims now include predictive forward collision warning and forward emergency braking. These add onto a robust list of assistive safety technologies available in the 2018 model. The 2019 3.0-t SPORT has numerous additional features as standard equipment that are not available in the previous model year. These features include a Bose audio system with 16 speakers, InTouch navigation technology, a surround-view monitor, heated front systems, advanced climate control, and InTouch Services. These add to exceptional features found in both model years, such as cruise control, SiriusXM satellite radio, remote services, a memory system, remote entry, keyless ignition, and more.
