2020 INFINITI Q60 vs 2019 INFINITI Q60

Serving Maple Shade, NJ

In 2020, the Q60 received a few standard and trim-specific updates. This year, a next-generation infotainment system is standard on all trims – complete with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Trims in the Red Sport 400 series receive moderate upgrades to their interiors. A newcomer to the lineup, called the Edition 30, features a suite of new exterior details and distinctive paint colors. All-wheel-drive is optional on all trims of the 2020 Q60. The 2019 Q60 received some notable changes as well. This model year acquired more standard features across the lineup. The trim selection was also narrowed in 2019, as the 2.0T Luxe and the 3.0T Sport trims were eliminated from the Q60 family. As with the 2020 model, the 2019 Q60 features a powerful engine, plenty of options for a personalized touch, and the availability of all-wheel drive across the board. Both vehicles have a distinguished coupe-style body.

Both the 2020 and 2019 versions of the INFINITI Q60 are made for power and performance. The 2020 Q60 has two engine options across the trim lineup. The base engine is a 3.0L with six cylinders. It is a turbocharged engine with a water-cooled charging system and 24 valves. This engine produces up to 300 HP. A seven-speed automatic transmission comes standard with the engine. The second engine is a more powerful version of the first. It has the same basic design but the capability to produce up to 400 HP. Both engines reach their maximum power output at 6,400 RPM. The base engine produces 295 LB-FT of torque, while the second engine produces 350 LB-FT. The 2019 Q60 has the same engine configuration. On both model years, you have the option of either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

A sleek, modern, and sophisticated appearance is a highlight of both Q60 models. The base trim in 2019 has 19-inch inch wheels, LED headlights, fog lights, and a sunroof. Successive trims add even more with all-leather interiors and trim-specific accents. Topping the line is the Red Sport 400, which has 20-inch performance wheels, sporty brakes, and performance tires. The 2020 Q60 lineup looks similar, with LED lights and fog lights in the front. High-beam assist, and adaptive front lights are standard or available on the higher trim levels. Unique chrome trim, exterior badges, and illuminated kick plates are standard features of the top trims.

A surplus of amenities is standard or available for the Q60. The 2019 base model comes loaded with a keyless ignition system, dual-zone climate control, separate eight-inch, and seven-inch infotainment screens, and two USB charging ports. On the base model in 2020, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay come standard. A Bose sound system, leather seats, HD radio, and more driver-assist safety aids are standard on the higher trims.
