Serving Maple Shade, NJ
For today’s SUV shoppers who require ample passenger seating and an all-around excellent driving experience in a luxury vehicle, the 2020 INFINITI QX80 is a natural choice. This full-size SUV exudes luxury throughout the exterior and interior. Its most recent facelift occurred a few years ago, and INFINITI has made several updates to the QX80 since that time. This year’s QX80 introduces a few updates that you should be aware of before you pick out your next 3-row SUV.
Performance
Across the three available trims, the performance capabilities of the QX80 are unchanged between the 2019 and 2020. A V8 generates the QX80’s power, 5.6-liter engine mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. With 400 horsepower, the 2019 and 2020 QX80 versions deliver all of the power that you demand behind the wheel. You can take advantage of rear-wheel drive on the lower trim or all-wheel drive on the upper two trims. Performance is also elevated by manual shifting modes, driving modes for towing and snowy conditions, speed-sensitive power steering, ventilated disc brakes in the front and rear, and an independent double-wishbone suspension.
Appearance
There are trim-specific design differences across the 2019 and 2020 model years, and these differences hold steady. However, for 2020, there is a new Edition 30 package that shows off unique badging and style elements throughout the interior and exterior. Generally, the QX80 has a modern, cubical design that is enhanced by smooth sides, a liftgate roof spoiler, and a substantial grille with chrome trim. Exterior equipment on the 2019 and 2020 QX80 versions includes raised roof rails, integrated LED turning signals, high beam assist, adaptive and auto-leveling headlights, running boards, integrated splash guards, welcome lighting, UV-reducing solar glass, and so much more.
Features
The interior design of the QX80 holds steady between the 2019 and 2020 model years. However, for 2020, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto technology are included across the three trims. Also, the infotainment system in the 2020 model has been updated. Additional equipment consists of a push-button ignition, remote engine start, a 3-zone auto climate control system, sequential welcome lighting, 12-volt outlets, USB ports, wireless charging, leather material with heated seats, memory front seats, a Bose sound system, wireless headphones, illuminated controls on the heated steering wheel and many other features that can take your time on the road to a new level.
